Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect your email, your quiz answers, and basic account and payment information so the membership works. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Your quiz answers are private to us — they are never shown to other members.

1. Who is responsible

Holistic Performance Consulting, LLC operates The Mental Fitness Lounge and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: zack@holisticperformanceconsulting.com

2. What we collect

Account information — your email address, password (stored encrypted by Memberstack), and optionally your name.
Quiz responses — the answers you select and the playbook you are matched with. These describe how you are feeling, so we treat them as sensitive.
Membership and billing information — your plan, subscription status, and billing history. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Email engagement — whether our emails were delivered, opened, or clicked.
Technical information — standard server logs and information your browser sends. We store a session token in your browser so you stay logged in.

3. Why we use it

To create your account and give you access to member content
To take payment and manage your subscription
To show you the playbook your quiz answers pointed to
To send you membership emails, live event notices, and follow-up about the Lounge
To understand, in aggregate, what people are struggling with so we can build better content
To keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations

We do not use your quiz answers to make any decision about you beyond suggesting a playbook, and we do not use them for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

Memberstack — accounts, login, and membership status
Stripe — payment processing and billing
Kit — sending our emails; receives your email address and your matched playbook
Calendly — only if you book a one-on-one session
Facebook — only if you choose to join the private member group, which is subject to Facebook's own terms and privacy policy
GitHub Pages — hosts the website

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.

5. Other members

Other members never see your email address or quiz answers. Anything you choose to post in the community group is visible to other members of that group.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and billing records while you are a member and afterwards as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Quiz responses and email records are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer useful. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can update your billing details or cancel from the Manage Membership link in the footer. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, email zack@holisticperformanceconsulting.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Deleting your account removes your access. Some records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored encrypted by Memberstack, and card data stays with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Lounge is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Where your data is handled

Our providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed there. If you are outside the United States, you are consenting to that transfer.

11. Changes

If we make a significant change to this policy, we will tell members by email or with a notice on the site.
